Candidate needs to apply to ACPC for centralized admission process for Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, Ahmedabad admissions 2019.
Eligible candidates would be allotted admission as per merit prepared considering results of qualifying exam (12th HSC Board exam) and GUJCET of the current year.
Sponsored candidates may apply online from Institute website within a stipulated time period as per ACPC norms by payment of application process fees (Rs 350/-). Click here to navigate directly to the online application.
The application for M.Pharm. Admission must be submitted Online through the “Online Admission Application Portal” of Nirma University. A downloadable form is not available.
The application form consists of six sections and then the final payment option.
Fill all the mandatory fields in the respective sections and click on "SAVE & NEXT" after completion of each section.
If the form is not completely filled in one sitting, make sure to save the entries made by clicking the "SAVE" button.
The fields like First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth and Email are mandatory; and not editable in future. If you make any mistakes in these fields, you need to contact the help desk to edit the same.
After filling up all six sections, proceed to the "Payment Details".
Candidates can opt to pay the application fees through online mode (debit card/credit card/net banking) or through offline mode (Cheque or Demand Draft). The applicant selecting the payment option other than online payment mode has to submit the Demand Draft or Cheque personally at the Institute.
The demand draft should be drawn in favor of "INSTITUTE OF PHARMACY, NIRMA UNIVERSITY" payable at Ahmedabad (Applicant should write his/her complete name & Application Number on the backside of the Cheque or Demand Draft).
Management quota (for NRI students and students who do not qualify merit-wise)
Candidates who have a valid Gujarat Common Entrance Test rank are counseled and allocated seats according to their rank.
The candidates will be admitted on merit basis through Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat State.
If the seats remain vacant after completion of admission process by ACPC (i.e. after the final round of allotment), then admission on vacant seats would be processed directly by Institute as per norms and instructions by ACPC.
15 Seats are admitted by Institute as NRI category (NRI self / NRI ward / NRI sponsored) as per norms of ACPC.
Students seeking admission under the NRI category are required to appear for a Proficiency Test in English.
The students will have to pay a one-time nonrefundable international Students’ Processing Fee of Rs. 30,000/-
The applicants will be given admission after checking testimonials and other related documents.
The eligible applicants with valid GPAT score will be given preference for admission in all the branches, and the admission will be given based on the merit of GPAT score.
The NON-GPAT candidates will be admitted based on the merit of the written test conducted by the Nirma University. The procedure will be initiated only if the seats are vacant after considering the qualified GPAT candidates.
For NON- GPAT candidates, the entrance test will comprise of multiple choice questions.
The Original documents should be produced at the time of admission.
In case of any dispute/doubt the interpretation of any clause, the decision of the admission committee shall be final.
Candidates should also have passed their (10+2) examinations from a recognized board for Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, Ahmedabad admissions 2019.
The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (GUJCET) with minimum eligibility criteria for percentage of marks prescribed by AICTE from time to time, as per norms of Admission Committee for Professional Courses.
The candidates should have passed the qualifying examination (B.Pharm) from a recognized university with minimum aggregate marks* or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Index (CGPI) or any other qualifying degree examination considered as an equivalent of B.Pharm. degree by Nirma University, Ahmedabad. (*as per AICTE & PCI norms) for Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, Ahmedabad admissions 2019.
Candidates who are appearing for the final semester of qualifying examination (B.Pharm) can also apply. In such case, the candidate is required to submit the result as soon as the same is available either by email or by fax (scanned image).
If the applicant has passed the qualifying examination (B.Pharm) from a University other than Nirma University, then he/she will be required to obtain an eligibility certificate from Nirma University. The arrangement for obtaining the same will be made on the spot at the time of admission on payment of Rs. 1,000/-.
