Post Graduate Program [PGP] Details

IIM Indore MBA/PGP is a two-year full-time residential course leading to an MBA. The course duration is one year to two years and also includes an internship during the course. The Indian Institute of Management Indore offers 3 PGP courses that are mainly PGP in Management, PGP in HR Management (PGP-HRM), and PGP in Management for Working Executives (PGPMX).

Admission to the IIM Indore PGP programme is based on the CAT exam score for domestic students, and international students must have a valid GMAT score. Both the exams CAT and GMAT are conducted once a year.

IIM Indore PGP Eligibility Criteria

IIM Indore PGP eligibility criteria for 2-year programs state that a candidate must have a valid CAT score and a minimum 50% in graduation for general, NC-OBC and EWS, and 45% for SC/ST and PWD category students. Candidates in the final year of graduation may also apply for CAT for the PGP course.

However, if chosen, the admission will only be provisional. They must submit a pre-final certificate stating that they have completed their graduation approved by their prior institute or university, at the latest by June 30 of the admission year.

IIM Indore PGP Admission 

IIM Indore PGP admission 2023 is based on CAT, conducted by the IIMs in November of each year at various locations throughout India. IIM Indore PGP admission procedure includes a personal interview and WAT. 

Candidate needs to appear in CAT, also known as the common aptitude test. When selected they will get a call for an interview from any IIM. Students would then need to appear for a group discussion and written ability test followed by a personal interview.

Application Procedure

Listed below is the IIM Indore PGP application process. Students need to follow the steps to get admission at IIM Indore.

• Candidates seeking admission to the PGP program must appear in the CAT.
• Candidates can visit iimcat.ac.in and complete the application form. Candidates can select the IIM Indore PGP courses from the available option and pay the registration fees.
• Short-listed candidates must appear in group discussions and written ability tests followed by a personal interview and submit all the documents.
• Admission will be based on the CAT percentile, academic record, work experience, performance on the writing ability test, and personal interview.

Application Procedure for Foreign Applicants

The IIM Indore PGP application procedure for international students is given below.

• Candidates must complete the IIM Indore PGP application form from the IIM Indore official website.
• Students must have a valid score in GMAT and submit a self-attested copy of their GMAT score.
• GMAT score, academic achievement, work experience, performance on the writing ability test, and interview are all factors towards the final decision.

Note: Indian citizens or foreigners with valid passports or travel documents residing outside India cannot appear in CAT. For admission to IIM Indore, they need to appear in GMAT.

Entrance Exam

The IIM Indore PGP entrance exams are CAT and GMAT. The Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) in November is used for domestic admissions. GMAT is used for foreign candidates.
