The BAMS 4th year syllabus focuses on enriching the students with the skills and knowledge related to Dodhas, Nutrition and Diet, Management of Jwara, Sleep Disorders, etc. The BAMS syllabus 4th year covers 5 subjects such as Kayachikitsa, Panchkarma, Shalya Tantra, Shalakya Tantra, Research Methodology And Medical Statistics.

The BAMS 4th year subjects cover advanced topics related to Ayurvedic Medicine and Science such as the Importance of Kriya Kaala according to stages of Dosha and their management, Samanya Chikitsa Siddhanta of Manasa Roga, Principles & Management of Nutritional deficiency disorders, Management of Vardhakyajanita vikara, Indriyapradoshoja vikara, etc.

Along with the core subjects, the BAMS course also includes practical topics such as Patient examination, Observation of OPD patients, IPD (Panchkarma) and Panchakarma Unit, Identification and utility of surgical instruments, Bedside Clinical, Identification and usage of different Surgical tools, etc.
