The CMREC has a very good placement record. Around 85% of eligible students were selected in various sectors such as IT, Marketing, and manufacturing. The college offers placement training to assist students in campus placements.
The college has very good infrastructure with well-equipped laboratory facilities. All the instruments are in good working condition. The college has very good library facilities along with a digital library and WiFi.
For admission, students should have completed their 12th with PCM as major subjects. The JNTU conducts an entrance exam, based on which the admission will be carried out.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : we have to write MCET as an entrance exam. And I got admission through counseling.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : A good rank in EMCET is the eligibility criteria for my course. EMCET is the entrance exam I took for admission. The typical cut-off rank is below 40,000.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The college offers specializations in the M.Tech program. Admissions to these courses at CMREC is done through entrance exams like EAMCET for B.Tech and ECET/ GATE for PG courses. For these courses, application forms will be made available offline from the campus. Like most of the engineering colleges, final seat allotment to CMR Engineering College will be done after its counseling process for respective programs.
