Placements and Internships
The placements are great, almost 85% of students have been placed from the Information Technology branch and other branches as well. They conduct a lot of guest lectures also. Many companies like Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, etc. have visited the college for placements. There have been many pool campus drive also in the college.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
The overall infrastructure is good. The college does not have a large campus but the classrooms are very spacious with air conditioners. The college library is well stocked and has books about all the required subjects. There is a huge parking space, area for box cricket, good canteen service, well-equipped labs with all the software installed.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
We had CET as the entrance exam for engineering. The eligibility criteria for the students to get admission was 50% in 12th board exams and CET exam scores. The admission procedure is either online or offline. In the online procedure, the students are allowed the college according to their respective scores and for the offline procedure, we had to visit the respective college in person and find out about the remaining seats.
Academics and Faculty
The academics are conducted well in an organized manner, the college timings are from 9.10 am to 5.30 pm. The semester exams are conducted by the university every year in the month of May and December. The quality of teaching is highly appreciated, teachers being highly knowledgeable about the subject is an important aspect, they take in a lot of effort to make the students understand the concepts clearly and they are willing to clear the doubts whenever they are approached. The overall experience in college is truly satisfying.
Fees and Scholarships
AP Shah Institute of Technology, [APSIT] Mumbai Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 1.2 Lakh per annum.
The TFWS scheme offers students a lot of benefits since it cuts off the tuition fees completely and it is granted to students based on merit.
Clubs and Associations
The college takes a lot of effort into molding the students to not only be technologically sound but also gain overall knowledge. There are many social service programs conducted by students. The Lakshya team is a social service group of our college which indulges in many social service programs. The cultural fest of college is Ojus which is conducted mostly in December. The technical fest is Exalt which involves all the technical and fun activities for the students.
