I got admission through the entrance exam which was conducted by Abdul Kalam Technical University. Through counseling, the college was provided based on the marks obtained. After counseling, the process of document verification in which the mark sheets of 10th and 12th are verified and some other documents were verified as well. Next, the candidates are allowed to fill the admission form and after some documentation work, you are a part of this university or college.

The faculty is really good and supportive. They do a lot of hard work to make each and every topic clear to each and every student. Each teacher has really good soft skills as well. They are well qualified and have a very deep knowledge of their respective subjects. Few faculties are good enough so they can guide to exams like GATE and PSUs so that you don't require external coaching to perform very well.

The course curriculum and exam structure all are being managed in a very well way. Internal exams are conducted by the college. They conduct 3 times a written and 1-time lab test in each semester. External exams are conducted by AKTU once in each semester. The total sum is internal and external weightage of internal and external in final result varies in different years. The institute is really obsessed with the growth of all the students and there are external innovation labs and workshops for all the branches which are being conducted apart from the course-related project labs.

The course curriculum is very good as it covers all-round development box a student which includes classes for soft skills and also hard skills that involve the latest technology that is being applied to various industries and all these skills and knowledge helps a student to grab a good placement.

College offers scholarship opportunities to the student which is given by government and college also provides the scholarship to the meritorious students who scored 75% and above.

There are many clubs in KIET. They all work in their different fields and the best in it. Clubs are Google DSC, BlockChain, Electric Vehicle Club, SAE KIET, Innogeeks, Civec, Hobby Club, Dinobots, Aayushmaan Club, E-Yantra, Creative Cell, FC-KIET, KIET-Kavyanjali, KIET Dance Club, KIET Music Club, KIET Movie Society, Odyssey, Quizzinga, Spark Creations, TBI, TEDxKIET, Uddeshhya, Pragmatic Fashion Society, Salesforce Learning@KIET and many more.

There's a lot of events organized every year and these all clubs help the institution in these events. As for technical the event like INNOTECH technical festival, a national level event. PRASTUTI and EPOUQE are the cultural events organized every year with star nights in which a celebrity performs. Also, there are sports events like RANN again a national level event.
