Rishabh Saini's Review on Quantum University, Roorkee

The placements at Quantum University are very good. As I'm continuing my studies here, I feel very confident whenever I hear something from the graduated seniors about their placements. The packages of different companies are so desirable. Last year, the highest amount offered to a B.tech student was 14 lakhs. The students from other courses were also offered handsome packages. Our University also has a placement cell for the final year students. Many well known and reputed companies visit our campus every year for recruitment. Quick heal, tech Mahindra, Mphasis and many other national and international companies visit our campus to recruit students.

The University is well known for its good infrastructure. The classrooms are quite big and comfortable. Quantum University has very good labs for every courses. The labs are well modified and have updated equipment. There are 2 auditoriums and seminar halls for different purposes. Students get the free WiFi facility inside the campus. Also there are cricket ground, football ground, tennis, basketball, badminton Court. Students are allowed to play when they are free. The hostel food is very good. The weather here at Roorkee is so nice. The hostel rooms are also very clean and comfortable. Every facility is present at the hostel campus so the students don't have to roam outside. Overall the environment is very good at Quantum University.

If you have scored minimum 70% marks in your 12th standard, you can take admission in Quantum University but if you have’nt  scored good marks in 12th standard, you will  have to give an entrance exam called Q- care. On scoring good marks in the entrance exam, you will not only get admission at Quantum University but also you become eligible for scholarship. This amount of scholarship is based upon the marks scored in the  Q-care exam. When I gave that entrance exam, I scored 85% marks in and I got a scholarship of Rs.25000/- in my B.tech first year. This  really helped me to manage my finances. Q-care entrance exam is conducted in many cities so you can apply for this exam through Quantum University’s official website. The scholarships varies from course to course.

The faculties are very good here at Quantum University. Experienced and well behaved teachers are selected. Most of them are very friendly and help with the studies a lot. Students feel also quite comfortable to discuss about even their personal problems with them. Quantum University has interdisciplinary programme. This unique feature allows students to take other subjects as minor course with their major course. I took economics as my minor subject. At Quantum University, a student can also focus on his/her hobbies as well as studies under passion program. The labs are very good and I never faced any problem during my course.

Quantum University provides scholarships on two basis, first one based on the marks scored in the board exam and  Q-care exam.  Not only the b.tech students but also the students from different courses are eligible for these scholarships. When I got admission at Quantum University I was offered a scholarship of RS.10,000/-. Later on I cleared the Q care exam with more than 80% marks and got a scholarship of Rs.30,000/-. One of my friend was not eligible for scholarship as he didn't scored well in board exam, but he managed to get 82% in Q care exam and become eligible for the scholarship.

Rs. 61,500 is the course fee for first semester at Quantum University, Roorkee and the second semester fee is 53,500. Total one year fee is 1,15,000. The hostel fee is Rs. 104,000/- per year for AC and for Non AC it is Rs.78,000/- per year including Food, laundry, etc . There are separate hostel for boys & girls tha campus. 

Quantum University makes it fun for the students to enjoy studies by designing some cheerful events in the campus. The main annual function which we call Quantum dharohar is a great mix of culture with academic activities.This programme is put up by Q mates .Our Annual fest includes singing debate dance seminars etc. For the music and dance lovers, there's a fest called Glitz which is technically a cultural fest. Students can participate in this programme and show their talents in singing, dancing and other perfoming arts. The tech fest-edge is very important for the engineering students. We get a chance to showcase our engineering talents via Edge. Ojas is the management fest is arranged by the management students. It includes various management games and also competitions. The most favourite fest is the UDDAN the sport fest. It is an intercollege sport competition. The students are allowed to show their talents in sports. The fest is is held for 2days. Overall the students enjoy these festivals along with their studies.
