Placements and Internships
I am doing project internship in CRI Pumps without stipend.
More no. of companies should come for placement and ensure 100% placement.
Average Salary per year 3-4 lakhs. The highest salary is 10 lakh per year. Every year 90-95 percentage of students placed.
They conduct Alumni Program every year.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There is one Mens's hostel and one Women's hostel. For the 1st year, the hostel fee should be 70k per year. In 2nd,3rd and 4th year the hostel fees should 63k per year.
There are so many PGs are near the college and its cost depends on the PGs.
One food Court is there. The cost per meal is average.
The quality of food, classrooms, labs, library was good. There is no wifi in college. Wifi is available in the hotel.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Students should pass in Higher Secondary Exam with minimum average marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
The cutoff should be 186 average.
Academics and Faculty
The class timings are from 8.45 am to 5 pm. All Saturdays and Sundays are holidays.
The quality and methods of teaching are good.
The overall experience in college is excellent
Fees and Scholarships
SREC has more feasible fees structure. Comparing to other top colleges SREC has low fee. For 1st year the fees is quite high which is 60K. But 2nd, 3rd and 4th year the fess is 45k only.
SREC provides many scholarships. For the first graduate students, SREC gives 20k fees concession and also low income families SREC provides concession based on income.
May be a hostel student need loan. Many bank banks are available to give educational loan(ex: City Union Bank, Canara Bank , State Bank of India, Karur Vysya Bank)
Clubs and Associations
Various independent students clubs are available.
The list of clubs are Fine Arts Club(dance, music, skit), Phorart Club(drawing and painting), English Literary Society, Red Ribbon Club, Quiz Club, Aero Modelling Club, Young Indian Students Net, Renewable Energy Club, etc.
The main festival on campus is National Level Symposium.
