To join in the college National Institute of Technology Silchar we have to qualify the joint entrance examination mains with good percentile. The cut off for my course is of rank 15000 . The application form for JEE MAIN examination will be available in the official NTA website for the admission of National Institute of Technology is done when we will come to college and complete it.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for getting into NIT silchar was that the student should have at least 75 percent marks in 12th standard and he must have qualified JEE MAINS examination. The typical cut off for my course was around 155 out of 360.

The College also has a Kendriya Vidyalaya school up to Class VIII functioning from a temporary building in Campus.The faculty is good and always helpful.They are highly knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is very good at National Institute of Technology.
