Placements and Internships
I haven’t done any internship yet. Many companies like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Oracle etc hire our students with an average salary of INR 10,000 - 14,000 per month and the highest salary offered was INR 40,000 per month. CS has 100% placements. The alumni network is good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The candidate must clear the JEE MAIN and JEE ADVANCED 2019 exam and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute. Minimum 170 cutoff mark is required.
Fees and Scholarships
The fee is INR 1,60,000 per annum. If parental income is less than INR 1 lakh per annum, the 100% fee waiver is given and for income less than INR 5 lakhs per annum, the 60% fee waiver is given.The loan is required and it can be availed by SBI.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To join in the college National Institute of Technology Silchar we have to qualify the joint entrance examination mains with good percentile. The cut off for my course is of rank 15000 . The application form for JEE MAIN examination will be available in the official NTA website for the admission of National Institute of Technology is done when we will come to college and complete it.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for getting into NIT silchar was that the student should have at least 75 percent marks in 12th standard and he must have qualified JEE MAINS examination. The typical cut off for my course was around 155 out of 360.

Academics & Faculty : NIT Silchar offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Engineering, Science, and Humanities with 1187 departments. The annual intake for the B.Tech program is more than 500. The College also has a Kendriya Vidyalaya school up to Class VIII functioning from a temporary building in Campus.The faculty is good and always helpful.They are highly knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is very good at National Institute of Technology.
