Placements and Internships

Placements are not for doctors. It simply depends on your NEET PG score & college from where you take your specialist degree. Doctors generally earn well.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are many hostels for girls, boys, different courses. Pgs outside are also nice & easily available near the college campus. Hostel fees per year is INR 35,000 excluding mess & mess charges is INR 35 for every meal. Pgs cost varies from ₹5000-₹10,000 depending on facilities. Quality of classroom & labs & everything is Ok.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

My college provides many courses for students in the medical field some of which are M.B.B.S, B.Sc Nursing, M.D., M.S., B.Sc Medical, Pharmacology, Forensic Science, M.Sc. I study M.B.B.S here. I had to clear NEET for getting admission in this college for this course. I got in through my state quota. For state quota which is punjab quota cutoff is approximately 530-570, it depends on examination every year because there's fluctuations in cut off depending on difficulty of NEET and competition for getting admission for college. For taking admission through All India Quota, one needs to score 570-610 in NEET. This College is good for M.B.B.S as of course its government so fees is affordable & campus is really wide.

Academics and Faculty

4.5

Daily we have 1 D-Hall of 1 hour where human organs are studied then 3 theory classes each of 45 min. Then we have experimental class for 1:30 hours. Quality of teaching is brilliant. Overall it's a good experience.

Fees and Scholarships

4

My tuition fees for M.B.B.S is INR 80,000 per year. There is an increase of INR 10,000 in this fees every year. Besides this, there are extra charges of mess, college formalities, documents etc. So around it costs INR 2,00,000 per year. There is Amdana scholarship system in this college for students with financial problems. For that, an interview is held for students studying here sometime after admission.

Clubs and Associations

1.5

In general, we are concerned about studies but different competition & fests are organised by seniors which include every kind of competitions - fun, sports, quiz, fun quiz, art etc. There are no such societies in college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Every student who wants to pursue Medical studies as his/her career in India has to undergo NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). At the time of examination, students must be of 17 years or above with aggregate marks of 60% or above in 12th. The cut-offs for the exam vary depending upon the degree of complexity of the questions, but an average score is between 600-650 in almost all the states.
