Hostels are not provided. PG and other options for staying are available and assistance can be given nearby to the institute. Food in college is very hygienic and cost-effective. Entrance Exams and Admissions

The candidates should fulfill the following Eligibility Criteria: Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor's degree awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act,1956 of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Candidates appeared for final year examination fulfilling the remaining eligibility criteria will be offered provisional admission subject to the condition that they will pass the examination with the required percentage of marks on or before the date prescribed by DTE for time to time. In case, the candidate fails to produce the results of the final year examination on or before the date prescribed by DTE, then admission offered to such candidate automatically canceled and the fees (tuition, development and other fees) paid by the candidate will be forfeited. Candidates securing Non-Zero Positive marks/score in MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2017, CAT/CMAT 2016-17 (Conducted by AICTE) / Association CET/ Any other equivalent CET as approved by DTE will be eligible to get admission to MMS course in GNVS Institute of Management. MAH CET 2019 cutoffs may remain low as compared to last year as the highest percentile of 99.99 in MAH CET 2019 has gone down at 164 this year as compared to 165 last year.

Academics and Faculty

Academics counseling is provided through the Administration, Faculty, and Director for Student Activities and Welfare. Cafeteria Light meals and snacks are available in the College cafeteria from 09.00 a.m. to 06.00 p.m. Students are not allowed to take any food or drinks into the classrooms, laboratories or library. Cultural and Social Activities Activities include social and environmental symposia, lectures and educational meetings. Orientation meetings and graduation ceremonies are organized annually. Sports day, Cultural Day, Fresher’s Party, Farewell & Alumni Meets are annual events organized by the students reflecting there management skills and persona. Industrial Visits and Outbound Visit Outbound Visit is a part of the Induction Program, where the students before starting their academic journey are given a feel of management education with management activities outside the institute. Every year Industrial Visits are organized by the students with approval and assistance from the Institute. This not only provides students with insights into the real industry/market functioning but also enhances their organizing and planning capabilities. Recreation and Sports Activities The Institute encourages extra-curricular activities outside the classroom that enrich the cultural, physical and social life of students in the campus. The facilities for outdoor games like cricket, hockey and indoor games like snooker, chess, carom, table tennis, badminton, etc are also provided in the institute in accordance to the timetable scheduled for lectures. Library A library consisting of various reference books, national newspapers in English and Hindi, journals and periodicals, HBR case lets are being subscribed to along with several business and social magazines. Personality Development Special programs and lectures are arranged from time to time for the personality development of students. Several competitions like elocution, debate, essay writing, etc. are also organized. Computer Facilities The Institute has well-developed computer facilities. Every student has access to computer and internet for academic matters. Campus Interviews Companies related to the industry are encouraged from time to time for conducting campus interviews of the MMS Graduates. Various companies along with Summer Internships provide competitive job opportunities to the young postgraduates. Students Forum There are several forums and committees in GNVSIOM. The Student Council acts as an overarching body that ensures coordination and cooperation of all the forums and committees operating in the institute. Research Activities Students are encouraged to carry out research activities – individually as well as under the guidance of their respective Faculties.
