Placements and Internships

The key companies which come to this college are TCS, COGNIZANT, ACCENTURE. In case of Mechanical.placements are done in core companies but you must have a high amount of CGPA and also must be strong in TECHNICAL SKILLS The average salary is around INR 15k/month There are an occasional alumini meet every 5yrs. or so.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4

There are 2 hostels one for 1st years and the other is for 2nd years. There are rooms available near the college and it ranges from around INR 1k-5k depending on the lifestyle you choose The food is average but you have plenty of options for that The infrastructure for labs, WiFi, quality of classrooms are also pretty decent hostellers get WiFi which is included in the fee.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

When I joined there weren't any entrance exams but they would ask you for your 12TH AGGREGATE and would give the admission. The eligibility criteria is that you must have completed 12th class/diploma with a decent percentage (say 75%+). The typical cutoff is around 170/200 for MECHANICAL course. One can also join through ANNA UNIVERSITY'S COUNSELLING.

Academics and Faculty

3.5

Class timings are from 8.15 am to 3.50 pm prety decent. Every semester you have about 3 exams for internals and the marks you scored is the final Quality of teaching is also good and mostly depends on the professor some are passionate some aren't. My overall experience is OK not too bad

Fees and Scholarships

3

My course fee is around INR 90k/yr. And the average fee is around INR 60k/yr. There are scholarships for students from MBC/SC/ST community. The no. Of students getting the scholarship is around INR 100-1500 students College does support to student loans their preferred bank is INDIAN BANK  and the scholarship is also credited to your account in this bank every year.

Clubs and Associations

3.5

There are student societies like NSS, English clubs, SAE and another respective dept. Societies. Every branch has their own SYMPOSIUM and also annual day is almost celebrated every year. The life in college is awesome no restrictions like boys and girls must not talk and things like that However you aren't allowed to use phones DURING THE CLASS HOURS. no forcing by the management to take THEIR BUS SERVICE and things like that.
