Placements and Internships

I did an internship with a stipend of INR 15000. The placement facility is there in the college, the average salary for a graduate is aroung INR 25k.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4

Right now, hostels are only given to girls. However, the construction for boys hostel is going on and it will hopefully be ready by next session. There are a number of PGs, you can get within 1km range of the college with the cost of INR 5-12k depending upon the facilities.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

Admission is given on the basis of merit in the secondary board exams. Like any other college, the cut off is a bit high.

Academics and Faculty

5

Class timings are quite flexible. On a normal day, we have classes until 2 PM. The college administration is quite strict on internal assessment. We have one of the best teachers in the university. I have a good experience in this college.

Fees and Scholarships

4.5

Like any other college in Delhi University, the fee is nominal. For electronic it's around INR 20k per year. Various departments have their scholarship schemes. College also provides scholarships to the toppers of the departments.

Clubs and Associations

5

There are many societies on campus. We have three societies dedicated to different forms of dance. In fact, our drama society has won the first prize on the national level. Every department has its own society.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To take admission to any of the Bachelors courses, you should have passed your 10+2 from any board. Then a merit list will be prepared and if you make it into the top you will get a chance to get admitted into the college. For all courses, the merit list cutoff is about 92%  marks. It is a semi-government financed college and half of it is financed by DSGMC. So it has a minority status and if you are a Sikh you will have a leniency of around 10 -15% marks. The criteria is different for masters. If you are from Delhi University itself you don't need to give an entrance exam but if you did your Bachelors from some other university then you'll have to appear in an entrance exam.
