Placements and Internships
Though their are no major companies coming into campus for placement but companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc. come. The average package is aroundINR 3.5 lakh. Though few people have managed to get job at microsoft. The higjhig package TCS has gone around INR 6.5 lakh till now. In IT department almost everyone scores a job.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Their are two hostels for boys and two for girls Their are PGs which will cost around INR 6k and hostels cost depend on type of room one chooses-single,double or triple. Food in college is nice quality. Labs are air conditioned. Wifi is ok and library is nice.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The eligibility criteria is that one should have completed his senior secondary. The admission procedure is simple. One just need to qualify wbjee with rank under 3500 or jee mains with required rank. Their was not minimum percentage required in class 12. I took admission throughWBJEE exam.
Academics and Faculty
The college is under autonomy now, therfore, exams and test happen earlier than colleges which come under WBUT. The quality of teaching is not nice for all teachers. But their are teachers who teach really very well. Overall experience is almost ok.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee is around INR 90k for one year. Scholarships are avaiavail for people who have domicile of west bengal. Loans are not required but it depends on student conditions It can easily be availed from bank since it has connections with PNB bank
Clubs and Associations
Life is not so interesting here in college like we see in movies. There are various clubs on campus but very few give you a chance to grow. The college fest is not always held due to fightings between groups in relation to election for council memners .

Entrance Exams & Admissions : WB JEE and JEE is the entrance examination that the student has to give. There was no cutoff mark.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission is through WBJEE and JEE Mains rank. For WBJEE the cutoff is around INR.4000 for CSE.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : For getting admission in a B.tech course in my college a candidate must have PCM in 10+2 level in school and he or she must appear for national and engineering examinations. I appeared for WBJEE for getting admission into heritage institute of technology. A candidate with a rank of 14k can get admission into Biotechnology stream and that is the closing rank. If someone wishes to make it to other departments you need to have a rank less than 13k.
