I have not done any internships yet. Here the alumni network is quite strong and well spread.

I am a local student so I do not keep knowledge of hostel fees but there are in total 5 hostels to accommodate students and they are properly maintained. The food quality here is also good. The central library is widespread and very well stocked.

For getting admission in a B.tech course in my college a candidate must have PCM in 10+2 level in school and he or she must appear for national and engineering examinations. I appeared for WBJEE for getting admission into heritage institute of technology. A candidate with a rank of 14k can get admission into Biotechnology stream and that is the closing rank. If someone wishes to make it to other departments you need to have a rank less than 13k.

Daily the official timings of classes are 9 am to 6 pm but every day that is not the case. Often it gets over at 3 or maximum 4pm.the faculty members are very helpful and resourceful. Assignments are given mostly for all term appears before the end semester exams. The overall experience here is very good.

Fees for B.tech is 44-45.1k per semester. Yes, loans are available for students with financial problems. One has to have a good academic record or poor financial status to avail them. Quite few can avail it. Any nationalized bank gives loans to students.

Here Many technological events are conducted. Cultural fests like ECCLESIA take place. Sports events keep on happening. Overal it is an active atmosphere here.
