Placements and Internships

1

I haven't done any internships. campus placement is poor, very few students get recruited by campus placement

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4.5

There are five hostels are for boys and girls. Hostel fee is INR 21000/year Other options are also available rooms on rent, private hostels though the cost of both is nearly same. Food in the mess is not enough good and healthy, it costs around INR 10000/semester. Quality of classrooms, labs is best and infrastructure is very comparable to IITs and cleanliness, trees and pollution control is best.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

Eligibility criteria were determined by AICTE; Student should be pass in all subject and appeared for mathematics in 12th standard. Admission was by CAP Rounds. I took CET as my primary exam for engineering admissions. For my course, 60-63 marks in CET are enough to get in.

Academics and Faculty

2.5

The daily routine is very critical, college timing is 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Only academic teaching, lacks support for extra activities. Overall experience is Average

Fees and Scholarships

2.5

Fee per year is nearly 80000 rs. Scholarship options include EBC, category Scholarships, hostel scholarships. Almost all applicable students get EBC.

Clubs and Associations

1.5

I Only know one club; Prerana club, and one association EESA. Technical works and clubs are none, nothing in here motivates you to do new stuff. Life in college is thus very typical engineering life, study before exam and writing before submission and all. Students have to gain their skills on their own

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I had to score a minimum of 50% of PCM score in 12th and a JEE score of 50 for getting admission into a mechanical engineering course. Cutoffs for college are 12th-65%(all over) JEE-50 above
