College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

Classrooms are well equiped with all the latest technologies. There are classrooms with both fixed furnitures with successive raised platforms to make it look like a galleria. Also there are classrooms with movable furnitures for a dynamic audience. Currently the college is bringing up two auditoriums and a central library. The common classrooms are big enough to accomodate 50-100 students, while the classrooms in the academic block can accomodate as many as 300 students if not more. Currently the library has large collection of technical books and few non technical books, but if one is to beleive the rumours, there is a air conditioned Central Library coming up very soon. Although the constuction of the auditoriums are complete, the college hasn't yet put it to use. There is Wi-Fi facility available in the college campus and in the hostel and provides more than acceptable download speed. Since the college is in the middle of nowhere, it provides bus facility in the evening, to those who want to go to the city. Apart from the bus there are auto rickshaws available all throughout the day, but one would hardly want to avail them as the auto drivers charge exhorbitantly, cashing on the student's agony. There are no nearby attractions apart from the Derrace Dam. One will have to travel atleast 5 kms to find proper habitation. Though there is a village nearby at just about a distance of 1-1.5 kms where one can find their evening snacks if one choses not to go with the college food. The locality seems deserted and will give you chills if you walk about after sunset, but once you are inside the campus, it's all fine.

Academics and Faculty

Classes are stratigically timed owing to the convenience of the students. Teachers are usually in time for the class and put in cent percent effort in trying to make the students understand the topic. Unfamiliarity of the teachers with the language might somtimes be a problem but otherwise it is perfectly fine. Except few teachers assingments aren't assigned regularly. Although the teachers are quit strict about the attendance, and so it the college authority. The authority doen't prevent the student from sitting for the Semester Exams but deducts points from the final SGPA. Most of the professors are highly qualified and it shows in their teaching. Since they are seasoned contenders the standards and the methods of teaching are more than just acceptable. Though the teachers are quite strict at times and may not always seem friendly, they are always available to help the students in their academic needs. From the academic point of view, the teachers are very supportive and always thinks about the well being of the student. Though the Mathematics department is never quite up to the mark and need a lot of improvement. Overall, nthe teacher are one of the biggest plus point of this college.

Fees and Scholarships

4.5

The college provides an exemption of fees to students who's parents have low annual income. Also there are scholarships for the top three students in every branch of every year. The college provides assistance in providing loan from the Andhra Bank, one of who's branch happens to be inside the college campus.

Clubs and Associations

4.5

There are various clubs for the all round development of the student. Some function quite fine and are active throughout the year while the others show up once in a while. The most active club will be the ACM chapter. The members are always conducting coding events now and then, discussing topics and organising workshops. The other notable clubs are:
The Astro club- Beyond the stars.
Techno club- Technotronix
Sports club
cultural and art clubs are quite dormant exept during the college fests.

The college has it's own Techno Cult fest ADVAITA which usually takes place during the first week of February. During this time all the clubs work tirelessly to organise their respctive events.

The college has facility for sports like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball and tennis. There are cricket, football and volleyball tournaments held every year. Indoor games such as carrom and table tennis are available at the boy's common room.
