Very few companies visit our campus generally mass recruiters like TCS and Infosys. The average salary is around 3-4 lakhs. Last year highest salary was 10 lakh.

Boys hostel and girls hostel are separated. Boys hostel are inside campus while the girls' hostel is outside campus. It cost INR 24000rs with lunch and dinner included. Food is average and there is a fixed plan which repeats every week. Quality of classroom and lab is very good. Libraries have enough book. Every student gets a unique Id and password so he/she can utilize campus Wi-Fi. The speed of WiFi is average.

BIT Durg is the second best college in chattisgarh state after NIT Raipur. To get a seat in this college a student must have to clear 12th board with 60% for general student and 40% for sc St student. A student can get a seat in this college by clearing CGPET with decent score or by getting good marks in jee mains. Average rank cutoff for cse department goes around 100-300 for general student and 1000-9000 for reserved category student.

College starts at 10 with 50min duration of each class and ends at 4:30 with the lunch break between 1:30 to 2:10. You will be getting projects and assignment from time to time. Exams occur at the end of each semester. Quality of teaching is very good when comparing to other Engineering colleges in Chattisgarh. Overall experience is very good. BIT organizes every year where the student can showcase their cultural and technical talent.

Course fee per year is around INR 70,000 rs which are quite good considering the quality of study we get. Scholarship options are available for lower class family with less income. Generally no loans are needed to study in this college. Almost everyone can afford college fees with the help of the scholarship.

There are various student societies and clubs on campus both official and nonofficial like bol, eutopia etc. Every year college organizes OJAS a cultural, technical and sports fest combined. Which last for two days. There are other small events like Ganesh Utsav, bitcoin etc. Life in college is hard if you want more fun element like in college.
