Internship opportunities are less here. Many core and IT companies come for placements. Alumni meet is organised every year.

There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The food is very bad. There is a canteen in the campus which serves snacks and lunch. Labs are fully equipped. Classrooms are decent.

You need to be 12th appearing or passed to take the entrance examination known as Consertium Of Medical, Engineering and Dental (Karnataka) abbreviated as COMEDK. This exam can be taken by students from all over India except Karnataka. For the students of Karnataka, Common Entrance Test (CET) is conducted.

Timings are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. 3 Internals are conducted, one each month during the semester. Assignments are given for each subject during Internals. Quality of teaching is average.

A student taking admission through COMEDK will have to pay a sum of around INR 2 lacs per annum. Whereas, for CET students it is around INR 60k per annum. Banks provide loan easily. No scholarships are available.

There is a group of first year students which organizes events called STEC. There is a CAT team for seniors. Sankalp is the annual fest. College life is not so happening, yet no so dull
