Great Alumini Network. Some of the best placements among NITs. More than 95% of the students get placed nearly every year, and many branches have 100% placement.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Wi-Fi recently introduced, and works well. Classrooms and Labs have been upgraded and now have world-class facilities. There is easy access to Trichy City (45min away) as buses ply on the roads outside college.
Academics and Faculty
Qualified Faculty, and rigorous but manageable academic schedule. Gives you enough time for other activities as well. Many new teachinng methodologies being plannned.
Clubs and Associations
Best part about NIT-Trichy. Over 50 wonderful clubs to choose from. Sports facilities are good, and are being constantly improved.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For getting admission in any B.Tech course the minimum requirements are Higher secondary education and passing JEE MAIN entrance examination. The cutoff for CSE is generally around AIR 1300 for other states quota and around 2400 for state quota ( There is a 50% State quota for every course ).
