I have done an internship as a business analyst on ONGC, management training and coaching head. The no. of candidates who get placed are 60% and the average salary package is INR 3-11 lakhs per annum.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Ther are a total of 11 hostels for boys and 1 for girls which cost only INR 50,000 per annum and the food quality in here is good and cost INR 120 per meal. Quality of classrooms, wifi, the library is good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Pass 12th board exams with physics, chemistry, and maths as the main subject will be allowed for admission and have to go through JEE MAIN. Cut off for general opening and closing is 9515 and 14415, for SC opening and closing-3099 and 3388, for ST opening and closing is 984 and 1356 and for OBC opening and closing is 4060 and 5942 and for general PWD opening and closing is 437 and 230.
Academics and Faculty
8:30 am to 6:00 pm is the class timings. Mid and End semester exams go on throughout the course. Teaching quality is good and experience has also been good in college.
Fees and Scholarships
the fee is less than INR 1lakh per annum including the hostel fee. The scholarship is provided to financially unstable and students who are eligible for government scholarship. The loans are not needed but if you need one SBI bank provides it.
Clubs and Associations
Drishti, CHRD, Hindi cell, Alumni association, IETE, Nirvana, NCC etc are some of the students association. the important festivals celebrated on campus are sparsh- techno cultural and kashish which is for freshers fest. Life is good in the college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria depend on Your JEE Main marks and board marks. It's 40% board and 60% JEE. I took JEE Main. Cutoff depends on All India rank which was about 21000 in2014.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility to join Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology is 11 - 12th + JEE MAIN examination After that CRL will be given to you which is also known as AIR ( all India rank). After on the basis of that rank, you will be awarded admission through JOSSA process. SVNIT has best placement records in chemical technology but though most of don't like chemistry so the cut off is lower.
Academics & Faculty : The class timings at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, [SVNIT] Surat start from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm and after lunch 2.00 pm to 4.50 pm.
