- I have just selected for SUMMER COURSE at OXFORD UNIVERSITY - ENGLAND in Philosophy.
- Since many Chemical industries are nearby Surat so placement of chemical students is highest, also camps and mechanical are evergreen branches so their placement salary is also higher.
- Average Package in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology for Computer students: Rs. 7.6 lakhs for Chemical students: Rs.7.4 lakhs for Mechanical Rs. 7.2 lakhs for Civil Rs. 6.2 lakhs for Electrical Rs. 6.9 lakhs.
- Alumni network is also good, they arrange seminars and workshops and conferences for the better future.
- SVNIT is the oldest college since 1961 so the core branches are very good.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are six different hostels for 1st,2nd ,3rd and 4th years students at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology and one for girls Hostel fees are Rs. 40,000 per year. So you can calculate the monthly expense.
- Ya also PGs and rooms are available but these are more expensive about Rs. 10,000 per month.
- Food quality is too good but it's in Gujarat so you can see Gujarati ascent in food. But trust me its too good Per meal cost is about Rs. 40 rupees.
- The campus is about 250 acres, if you are nature lover then it's more peaceful for you. WiFi speed links speed is about 74 Mbps and the downloading speed is around 6 Mbps.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Eligibility to join Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology is 11 - 12th + JEE MAIN examination After that CRL will be given to you which is also known as AIR ( all India rank).
- After on the basis of that rank, you will be awarded admission through JOSSA process.
- SVNIT has best placement records in chemical technology but though most of don't like chemistry so the cut off is lower.
Academics and Faculty
- Daily routine in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology are from 8:30 am. to 5:40 pm. ( lunch break: 12:40 to 2.00) From 8:30 to 12:40 class will be conducted and after that 2:00 to 5:40 labs.
- You will be provided a clear syllabus for all subjects in starting of a semester.
- Quality and methods of teaching are the best.
- Exams schedule is also provided in starting off the semester so easy to time management.
- Projects are not given in 1st year there will be only assignment and exams.
Fees and Scholarships
- Course fees in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology are Rs. 1,25,000 PA and also Rs. 8000+ for the first-year student for the alumni association and library fees also hostel fees are Rs. 32,000.
- Yes, a scholarship is available for the student whose family income is below Rs. 5 lakhs.

Many groups according to your branch and also a literally club, music club, dance clubs are there and one group which is working for the rural children they teach them and also give gifts on special occasions.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria depend on Your JEE Main marks and board marks. It's 40% board and 60% JEE. I took JEE Main. Cutoff depends on All India rank which was about 21000 in2014.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Pass 12th board exams with physics, chemistry, and maths as the main subject will be allowed for admission and have to go through JEE MAIN. Cut off for general opening and closing is 9515 and 14415, for SC opening and closing-3099 and 3388, for ST opening and closing is 984 and 1356 and for OBC opening and closing is 4060 and 5942 and for general PWD opening and closing is 437 and 230.
