Dimple Badlani's Review on University of Mumbai [UM] Mumbai

I have done the internship in Mumbai marathon it was awesome, you can get an opportunity to interact with famous personalities there and I got Rs 3000 as a stipend for 1 week and certificate. You can get an opportunity to work with different radio channels or news channels.

There is the separate hostel for girls and boys with wifi campus. PGs are also available which cost Rs 4000(INR) per month and the quality of food is also good and the menu is also nice. We get media lab in which we can learn anchoring reporting etc.

After passing 12th anyone can apply in this course but the criteria are that you have to score above 70% in class 12th and there is no entrance exam for mass commutation. Cuttoff expected are above 70%. The college gives you best education for mass communication and the fees are also not so high as compared to other colleges.

Class timings are from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and in each year it is changing. The faculty is nice and very much friendly with the students. In each semester you got interesting projects like power point presentation, newspaper making, reporting, editing, filmmaking, dubbing etc. I had a great day at this college and I have learned a lot.

This is 3 years course and in the first year you have to pay Rs 20,000(INR) by demand draft and in the second year Rs 19,000(INR) and in the third year it's Rs 18000(INR). There is hostel facility for outsiders also. There is no requirement if the loan in this course.

Ganesh festival is popular in this colleges and other was college annual day. There are different sports played in this college like football, volleyball, cricket, rugby, etc,.The life is just great in college you get to know people from different state or city and celebrities also come in this university and guest lectures take place which gives you the opportunity to interact with eminent personality.
