Bharat Jakkula's Review on National Institute of Construction Management and Research, Pune

I am pursuing the course, I am the student of the first year of the course still don't do any internship, an internship will start in February, but NICMAR provides very good internships for the students.

There is 3 hostel for the college and the hostel are decent and not up to the mark as students thought it would be because the hostel is very high and the service provided by the hostel management is very poor. The food provided by the hostel is very bad and every student complaints about it to the hostel management. The quality of classrooms, labs, libraries, dining halls, wifi are very poor.

Eligibility criteria for the course were Engineering with minimum  50 marks. Admission procedure was online registration of the course for college web site. NICMAR entrance exam N-cat.

Class timing is from morning 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, the lot of practical projects are given to us by the faculty, and assignments are also given by faculty. The quality of teaching is very good and they give very realistically and industry base knowledge. The teaching method is very different than any other college. The experience in the college is very good and we get to learn the different and realistic thing in the college.

The fee is around 6 lakhs(INR) P.A. Scholarship is provided to the college toppers only not to any other student. Only 10 students get the scholarship from all the campus of NICMAR COLLEGE. Yes, the loans definitely needed for every student. Getting the loan is not that difficult if we go through the NICMAR recommended banks only, and if we go to other banks it is difficult to get the loan.

There no a student councils and placements committees of student for the college of students, all the festivals events and any other thing like festival events are conducted by student council and placement committee look after the placement of the student, the placements committee trains the students for GD, PI , test and every other thing related to the placement . The main festival for the NICMAR is INK NO which comprises of management fest, sports, and cultural fest The life in college is very chill and no burden is given to any student.
