However, owing to the diverse courses, people are recruited in diverse fields in our college.
There is hostel accommodation but, it is relatively easier to find a PG. The college canteen is pretty cheap and the food is also decent. Most of the classrooms are pretty average but, the Mass communication classrooms are very well equipped and so are the labs, with something of the best equipment from the industry.
The selection lists take both the class 12 board marks and the entrance exam marks into account. Your best of 4 board marks (English+3) is added to twice the entrance exam marks(100*2) Giving a total score of 300. So, the entrance exam has 2/3rds weightage while th+e board marks have 1/3rd.
Class timings vary from course to course. However, on an average, you are in college for around 4 - 5 hours every day. The teachers are excellent, with some of them having won great laurels in their field and coming from some of the best colleges in the country.
Varies from course to course. While the government-funded courses are relatively cheaper, the self-funded courses are slightly more expensive, going up to around ₹40000 per semester. However, considering the value of the degree and the fact that most privet colleges charge around 3 times the fee, it is definitely worth it.
College life is quite happening, with a ton of societies and cells with one for every student. They vary from commerce, entrepreneurship, economics, cinema, etc.
