Placements and Internships
Did an internship at ISRO. Companies include TCS, Adobe, Amazon, Royal Enfield, Siemens, Texas Instruments, etc. They recruit for IT, Software, Manufacturing. Average salary is about INR 7-8 lakhs per annum. Highest salary is INR 39lakhs per annum. 70-80% of the students get placed. Widespread and very well placed alumni contributing to a very successful network.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Eligibility criteria: Top scores in KEAM (Kerala Entrance). I wrote KEAM, JEE MAIN and JEE ADVANCED, BITS Entrance and VITEE. Typical cut off ranks are about 900-950 for ECE at CET.
Academics and Faculty
Daily routine consists of a normal 9 am to 4 pm class schedule with 1 hour periods. Quality of teaching is not very good. Students normally are self taught. Brilliant college life, with campus politics, elections, strikes, freedom.
Fees and Scholarships
Course fee is Rs. 8225/- per year. Various scholarships provided by alumni associations and college clubs for students. Loans are not generally needed as the fees are very low.
