Placements and Internships
The college forbids most students from doing internships and some teachers are against it and there is no support for the students who do internships from the faculty. If you do get an internship it's going to be based on your skill and the college won't give you attendance for it.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- There are different ways to get into this college and this department. The easiest way to do is go through the management quota.
- The other ways to get in here is through COMEDK UGET or KCET.
- It's also important to do really well in your 12th.
Academics and Faculty
The internals are tough and it gets really hard to score in this department, it feels as if the teachers don't want you to do well on the exams. The lab equipment is below average with items that don't function and teachers who don't want to see you pass. I've seen situations where even when the external invigilator passes you in the lab exam the internal invigilator fails you because that's how vindictive they are. The HOD of the department is a brilliant teacher and a very helpful individual, probably the only good teacher in the entire department who's going to try and help you.
Clubs and Associations
There are no clubs here and the fests that happen are so terrible that I stopped going for it after the first time. The college does have many technical activities that are worth participating in such as hackathons.
