Entrance Exams and Admissions
My course is BA Economics and Jai Hind has majorly 2 categories i.e BA Economics or BA psychology. The admission process was very simple to follow. There are no specific entrances to be given. After the Maharashtra boards result is out, all the colleges under MU release their forms on a specific date along with a pre-decided submission date for the forms. There are usually 4 cutoff lists. Which range from higher 90s to lower 80s.
Academics and Faculty
My course timings are from 7:30 AM in the morning to maximum 1:30 PM. The timings also avail you opportunities for internships for the rest of the day. Teaching method includes chalk and talk as well as projectors for better understanding. We have AC classrooms as well as network jammers in each class to avoid distractions during lectures.
Fees and Scholarships
The fee for my course is INR 6500 per ammum and the fees is affordable and reasonable. There are a lot of scholarship options available.

Academics & Faculty : BA from Jai Hind college (affiliated with Mumbai University) is a 3 year course with 6 semesters. In the first two semester there are three compulsory subjects and three optional subjects. The 3rd and 4th semester, we continue studying the three optional subjects which we chose during the start of the course, along with one additional component and one compulsory subject. the final year, last two semesters, we can major in any one subject or do a part major in two subjects. The choices of subjects is vast, with around 15 subjects to choose from. Teachers use various methods such as presentations, group discussions, textual, student performence, etc. Teachers in Jai Hind college are helpful and very easily approachable.
