- The alumni network at Ms Ramaiah University is poor as the university is new.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- MSRUAS has two hostels one inside the campus and another outside the campus.
- Hostel fee is collected yearly and it costs around Rs 65000.
- There are many PGs near the college and it costs about Rs 5000 to 6000 per month.
- Quality of classrooms, labs , libraries, WiFi, etc is good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- I joined the college after completion of my diploma in Mysore.
- I applied for DCET(diploma common entrance test) which is the entrance exam for joining any engineering college in Karnataka.
- The typical cutoff for my course is only 20,000.
- But in Ms Ramaiah, University the cut off is 13500.
Academics and Faculty
- Class timings at MSRUAS are from 8.30 AM to 1.30 PM.
- Exams are twice a year followed by 2 internals and 2 assignments.
- The quality of teaching is best.
- Overall experience in the college is good.
Fees and Scholarships
- The Course fee at MSRUAS is Rs 80,000 per year.
- The hostel fee is 65,000.
- They are scholarships available for students by the government depending on the caste.
Clubs and Associations
- At MSRUAS student can join in any of the clubs depending on the interest.
- There is also a music, acting and dance school in our college.
- College fest, ethnic day, trends day and sports day too.
- Life in college is good.
