- Hostels are overall good considering it to be a government college.
- University doesn't cost more than rupees 800 per month.
- There are large no of PG's avilable in this area costing around rupees 4000 -5000 per month including food.
- The quality of classrooms is well maintained.

- JEE MAINS is the entrance examination to get into University Institute of Engineering.
