Entrance Exams & Admissions : Amrita University has its own entrance exam called AEEE ( Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam). And if anyone wants to join Amrita university, he/she has to attempt the exam. They will provide you with your rank based on the marks obtained. And your admission process will be purely based on the rank. As far as the Aerospace Engineering course is concerned the cutoff rank will be nearly 5000 for open category students and the students who have not finished their 10+2 grade in south India.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria are you should get 90% in Maths and Science and Pass certificate from the board of intermediate. I took AEEE exam. It is conducted by the university itself. There are no proper cutoffs. Seats are given based on rankings. Like lowest ranks will be asked to choose the branch of interest and like this proceed to high ranks until the seats are filled.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are two hostels for girls and about 4 hostels for boys. The hostel fee is Rs. 15000 per annum and the mess fee is Rs. 44000 per annum (includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon and morning tea/coffee). Students are discouraged from staying outside the college hostel. The food is clean, there are choices. Overall the mess food is good Amrita University. Every classroom has a projector, good ventilation and can accommodate up to 80 students. The college has well-equipped labs.For aerospace -it has a low-speed wind tunnel. The libraries are well stocked with books related to the course offered in the university, journals, magazines, the university has its own digital library and has tie-ups with certain universities abroad to access their study material.Free wi-fi is available in the hostels and the academic buildings.
