- For outsiders, hostels are the best part of their entire college life.
- Wifi enabled and good infrastructure at National Institute of Technology, [NIT] Srinagar.
- What I personally felt in my hostel life was that, after college, wherever you go, you definitely can make friends in any part of the country very easily because NIT SRINAGAR is the only best college where you can have friends from Pakistan(Anantnag) also.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Eligibility criteria for getting into NIT is to crack the JEE MAIN exam.

Academics & Faculty : NIT, Srinagar has a very dedicated and competent faculty in all disciplines. The institute boasts of numerous professors who are highly experienced, having experience of more than 20 years or so. They are also actively involved in research work.
Academics & Faculty : Faculty is very good, practical approach towards teaching, highly qualified faculty all of them either Masters or PHD from IITs.
