Placements and Internships
- I have done an internship at supreme technology, Mulund.
- You can get various internships on intern shall or any other source.
- Regarding placements, VESIT is comparatively excellent campus. Various companies visit VESIT campus for placements such as accenture, jp morgan, etc.
- Although various training program conducted by VESIT placement cell to enhance technical skills such as Finishing School.
- As per my knowledge, the average salary is about Rs. 3.5 lakhs per annum.
- Almost 85% to 90% students get placements in VESIT campus.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There is a separate hostel for boys and girls in VESIT.
- Hostel and mess fees are Rs. 96,000 annually.
- There are various facilities provided such as dining hall, recreation room with LED TV, indoor games, snacks, etc.
- Every festival celebrated by VESIT hostel family.
- There are options for post-graduation for a visit. You can do masters from a visit with a high-quality education.
- Infrastructure is very attractive.
- Free Wi-fi is provided by the college.
- There is amphitheater on the 2nd floor to celebrate festivals and AC auditorium at ground floor.
- College Canteen is maintained properly.
- Cost are moderately high but ok.
- There is Cofee cafe day on a college campus.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- First of all, you can apply in Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology, [VESIT] Mumbai by two different ways.
- 1st way is to you have to pass 12th examination in science stream and go through CAP process.
- 2nd is after 10th you can do diploma in a particular branch and after diploma, you can get admission directly for second year of a particular degree course.
- There is no any entrance exam for diploma students.
- But students who are coming from 12th, they have to give MS CET or JEE.
- For general category, you must have above aggregate of 86% in final year of a diploma.
Academics and Faculty
- College timings in VESIT are from 8:10 am to 2:45 pm. Every lecture is of 1hr and practicals for 2hr. There are 2 breaks.
- In Vesit, teaching and non-teaching staff are very excellent and helpful.
- Teaching quality is very nice.
- Little bit load of assignments is there but it's ok.
- College library is very nice and spacious. Open until 7.00 pm.
- Overall experience is excellent.
Fees and Scholarships
- My course fees in VESIT are Rs. 1,13,500 per annum.
- The course fees are average fees compared other engineering colleges.
- There are various scholarships we can get 3 scholarships provided by the college administration. But other options are also available. As I say, economically backward students I can apply for EBC scholarship.
- Still, some students need loan then they can take a loan from any bank.
Clubs and Associations
- There are various societies in VESIT like IEEE, ISTE, CSI & ISA.
- There are various festivals like praxis, Utsav, pra ram BH. Praxis is a technical festival.
- Also, there are extra-curricular activities like sports, music, and cultural events. There are indoor(spurt) and outdoor sports events.
- There is VPL cricket league.
- College life is very nice and enjoyable.
- Students can enjoy college life nicely.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For admission in this college student must take Mht CET or JEE entrance examinations. I gave both the examinations along with JEE Advanced. The eligiblity for course is above 96 percentile in Mht CET exam and above 95 percentile in JEE main for general category.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I took the JEE mains exam and had a score of 106, generally admissions are given to people with scores in the range 80-110 depending on the difficulty of that years exam.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : My college Vivekanand education society institute of technology was built in memory of the great legend swami vivekanand.College is one of it's kind.The teaching faculty in college is extremely good vivekanand society is actually quite big which consists of schools, colleges for engineering, pharmacy, management, colleges for 11 and 12 .I am studying engineering in electronics branch.The way to enter this college is via your CET or jee marks but the majority is your CET marks.Now I am studying in the first year of electronics engineering and the cut off for 2017-18 in the cap was 106 out off 200.My branch has extremely good faculty and the placements are also quite good.Lasy year the electronics engineering highest placement went up to 16 lakhs which were offered by Microsoft.Along with teaching life, the enjoying life is also very good.I am proud to be a Venetian.
