Placements and Internships

- The College provides internship opportunities as well though the number is less at JNTUH College of Engineering, [JNTUHCE] Sultanpur.
- In the coming years, the students will get more opportunities to participate in more internships with the support from our college.
- Recently I and some of my friends have enrolled and participated in a summer internship at Centre for Development and Advanced Computing(CDAC) for the Mobile Computing course.
- My other friends of the college have enrolled for summer internships at KMV Projects limited, Vizag Steel plant, NTPC, ECIL..etc.
- The placement opportunities at our campus are not that much good that is regarded to the on campus which would be better in the next academic year . Even though the campus placements are less.
- Our college Training and Placements Cell supports and guides us a lot to participate in the placements conducted at JNTUH Hyderabad for the companies like CSC,Genpact,Tech Mahindra,Zoho Corporation,Kony..etc.
- The placement opportunities are going to increase every year with more companies on campus .
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

- Our college is located in the lap of natural green sylvan under Singoor Dam and surrounded by lush green fields producing sugarcane,paddy and cotton.It is largest of all the campuses that are JNTUH Hyderabad and other Constituent Colleges of JNTUH with a span of about 165 acres.
- Our College has good and vivid infrastructure facilities like Spacious classrooms with well equipped furniture, Air-conditioned Seminar Halls , a good library , Lab facilities to some extent, a good canteen and a stationery , well constructed six Boys hostels and Girls hostels but the sports grounds of few games like Basketball,Cricket and Football need to be constructed along with a Huge Auditorium.
- More other Lab Equipment needs to be purchased for the other labs for all the years to all the branches in our college. Our college hostels are pretty good with a total of six hostel buildings and three mess buildings.Two students are allotted for each room.
- JNTUHCES Central Library is one of the important central facilities of the college catering to the educational and information needs of faculty and students in Engineering at both UG level, Humanities & Sciences.
- It serves as a resource centre and aims to develop a comprehensive collection of documents useful for faculty and students of the institute and provides an efficient dissemination of knowledge.
- The JNTUHCES Library supports the teaching, research, and learning mission of the college by providing open access to the broadest possible range of ideas, opinions, and knowledge.
- The main objective of the library is to make the library an effective Learning Resource Center and shape it to play an effective support role by contributing to the quality of the technical education imparted in the college.
- Library's On-line Public Access Catalog, Digital Library facilities enabling browsing of paid and open access e-resources through Library's Intranet Website is part of its endeavour in creating an effective learning environment.
- Every Student who has taken admission in our college is given a facility to borrow up to four books according to the subjects in that corresponding semester using their four library cards. This would help the students from the burden of purchasing all the books of the semester.
- The Students have the facility of E-Library and a Browsing Lab which would further help them to explore more on any subject they require . The Campus is located in a serene environment free from disturbances of loud sounds and pollution.
- Finally, our college, JNTUH College of Engineering, [JNTUHCE] Sultanpur, uses eco-friendly techniques to manufacture it’s own electricity through alternative , renewable and pollution-free source of energy that is solar power.
- A huge Rain Water Harvesting pit is dug Behind our college which helps in collecting rainwater which seeps into the ground and as a result the groundwater gets recharged.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The Entrance Exam a student must write is the State entrance exam for engineering that is AP EAMCET.
- After the exam is conducted the student can enrol for the admissions initially with their certificates being verified at a verifying centre according to their rank. All the details regarding exercising options to avail an admission in a college will be on the State EAMCET official website.
- The students will be given a booklet of a detailed process of how to participate in the admission procedure by exercising options at the time of verification of certificates at the verifying centre.
- Once the student gets admission in our college they can come to the college with their printed allotment order and the original certificates with three to four xerox copies of each of the certificates.
- The student has to fill all the details in an application form and submit it along with the allotment order and the certificates. The student has to pay an amount of Rs 5500 if he belongs to OBC/SC/ST categories and an amount of Rs 12500 if he belongs to OC category as his first year total fee to confirm his admission at the college.
- The student can stay in the college hostel and details by enquiring at the college during admissions.
- The student has to pay a refundable advance deposit initially for the hostel. There are only four Branches at our college to be chosen which are Computer Science Engineering(CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering(ECE) with two other special Branches of Mechanical and Civil area which are Material Science and Nano Technology(MNT) and Civil Environmental Engineering (CEE) respectively which is a one of the milestone in the history of JNTU for having introduced such new branches in the state for the first time among all the colleges.
- There is a Proposal even for other branches to be introduced like EEE..etc and even the Post-Graduation M.Tech course in the coming years at JNTUH College of Engineering, [JNTUHCE] Sultanpur.
Academics and Faculty

- Our college has a good team of faculty members.
- Most of them have a minimum of a Post-Graduate degree in the field of science or Engineering.
- The faculty members must give real time examples concerned to most of the topics encountered in the subject so that the student feels much more interesting to follow the subject.
- The students are expecting more good faculty.Coming to the academics and events,
- The Student Diversity of our college has an excellent and an effective impact on our college, JNTUH College of Engineering, [JNTUHCE] Sultanpur.
- We organise many events in the district and statewide and participate in many events district-wide, statewide and even national wide.
- The events are a part of technology,sports and social welfare programmes.
- Our Principal Sir and PET Head Sir along with all other administrative staff provide us support to organise these events.
- The events include Blood Donation Programmes,Tree Plantation Programmes, SAHAYEE(Sultanpur Association for Helping Alms by Young Emerging Engineers ) ,National Service Scheme and providing support for organising free medical camps to the people of the villages around the college.
- Our college students participated in district-wide and statewide sports competitions like cricket,football,hockey,Badminton..etc. Academic events like workshops , National Level Technical Symposium are held at our college every college .Our College has recently become an IEEE member organised a workshop with more upcoming workshops of IEEE in the future.
- Students are given opportunities to participate in the internships and Technical workshops held even at other colleges.We even organise a Technical and Non-Technical fest at our college during the summer.
Fees and Scholarships

- Our College is affordable so simply in many terms.
- The Tuition fee for the Open Category students is about Rupees 13000 approximately and the other Backward Classes, The Scheduled Castes and The Scheduled Tribes have a very low tuition fee of Rupees 2500 Only and 5500 during the first year because our College is a Government University.
- The Other Backward Classes ,The Scheduled Castes and The Scheduled Tribes have the facility of Fee Reimbursement and scholarships to the Residential ie. Hostel Students provided the concerned parents of a student are not government job holder/holders.
- We have a low Mess fee and very little maintenance cost for staying in the hostel rooms with no power cuts mostly at JNTUH College of Engineering, [JNTUHCE] Sultanpur.
Clubs and Associations

- We have a few good set of associations for organising events in our college like Fests, annual day ,Sports events and meets,National Service Scheme(NSS) programme,Blood Donation Programme, Tree plantation Programme, Workshops ,Technical events...etc every year.
- We have an SAHAYEE(Sultanpur Association for Helping Alms by Young Emerging Engineers ) for helping the villagers and the poor people in some or other way financially and giving them proper guidance for their problems.
- We need to still establish specific clubs for all the cultural events permanently to organise the events more easily and effectively . Even though there are no clubs for these events we are organising events to a good level even.
- Our college would be more happening when the Administrative and academic staff give us more permissions regarding establishment of clubs like Sports club, Tech Ideas and talent Hunt club, Elocution and Drama Club,Dance and Singing club, Society and Community issues discussion and Solutions and their promotion club...etc and carry forward these talents to help develop our nation by motivating the participants in these clubs.
- These clubs Encourage students to build more passion for their lives and grow more stronger and try for the best at JNTUH College of Engineering, [JNTUHCE] Sultanpur.
