  • Basically, the companies like SANKALP, TCS, INFOSYS ,COGNIZANT, IBM, etc are the companies that mainly visit for campusing. The average salary package received per year is about 3 to 4 lakh. And the highest package received is 10 to 12 lakh per year. Every branch gets placed with an overall placing percentage of 90%. The alumni network is quiet good

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3

  • There are 4 hostels 2 for boys and 2 for girls at different places. Hostels are not as good as you expect due to 1.some hostels are far away from college. 2.4 to 5 bed per room. 3.limited wifi 4.food they provide 5. In proper drinking water facility. The hostel fee for the 1st year is nearly about 69000. P.Gs and Flats are the good options if you could find one. They hardly cost you 4 to 5 thousand per month. Canteen is provided in college, the food provided is considerably good in comparison to a hostel. Classrooms are good with lots of ventilation, labs, library is also good, wifi is provided.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

  • To get your self-placed into IEM(institute of engineering and management) you have to go through WBJEE(West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam) an entrance exam conducted by WBUT(West Bengal University).

Academics and Faculty

3.5

  • Daily routine starts from Tuesday to Saturday with the timing of 9a.m to 4 p. m. AS exams are conducted by but so they are held by the date provided by the board, Two Midsems are conducted by college per semester. College makes students to get involved in the project through the seminar or different platform. Assignments are provided on week basis and online test is conducted by TCSion

Fees and Scholarships

4

  • The course fee(per semester) for 1st year-37500. 2nd year-38000. 3rd year-39000. 4th year-40000. Sry to say but didn't hear about any scholarship provided by the college. Needs of loans or not that basically depends on you,as the fee in compared to other private colleges in different states is quite affordable . Loans are happily accepted by this college and you can go through the bank like SBI,OVERSEAS, IDBI.

Clubs and Associations

4

  • College holds different societies for every branch,Like IEI,ISHRAE,IEEEetc. Tech fest, cultural fest, and sports fest are the festivals on campus. It's good if you like discipline and punctuality.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission is done via WBJEE Exam. In this exam, a rank is obtained by a student. Based on this rank, he/she can appear in counseling to get any branch in any college. Typically nowadays a rank under 800 might ensure a seat in ECE branch in my college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : In order to get admitted into the college, we had to undertake the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination(WBJEE) OR the JEE Main exam. The cutoff ranks for the streams were considerably low as it is a college of high demand. The central counselling process was conducted for admission purposes. Once selected in counselling, we had to apply to the college directly for admission. The cutoff for streams with more demand was around 2000 for WBJEE and around 5000 to 6000 for the streams with less demand.
