Academics & Faculty : The college timings are roughly from 9 to 5. However, most of the classes are done by 3:30. There are some really good professors. However, if one chooses a course like BVC (now known as BA in visual arts) one needs to be proactive and expect less from the professors. The English department is pretty cool and provide students with a lot of interesting perspectives. There is a good share of extra-curricular activities, such as, college choir, NCC, wild-life association, Christian Student Association, AICUF, north-wast and Tibetan forum, dance groups et cetera.  However, the college is very strict about attendance. People have been seen repeating semester because of low attendance. The culture of the college is friendly and warm.
