Placements and Internships
- No key companies visit the campus for the internship, students have to get that on their own through personal contacts. I did my internship Suzlonlon and went through personal contacts, but was not offered any stipend.
- Mostly comapnies pertaining to IT visit the campus.
- Average salary is 3-3.5 LPA and mostly 15-20% people are placed,rest are unplaced or they opt for higher education.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 2 hostels are there, hostels are not that good. I don't know about the hostel fees but mostly was around 50-55k per year.
- No PGs are there to the nearby college since the college is on the highway.
- The food was okay but not that good,Pertaining to my domain i.e mechanical the labs were pretty good but other labs were not that good. No wifi for the campus.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- I gave RPET in 2011 and got around 11k rank in the test. After that, i applied for various colleges but ended up getting a mechanical branch in JIET. The cutoff is pretty low and mostly lies around 10k in RPET. It also accepts application through AIEEE. There was no another round like interview or GD i.e it is purely based on merit.
Fees and Scholarships
- Around Rs.75000 per semester but not sure.
- No scholarship by the college but then few scholarship program which was launched by the government was there.
- Loans were needed for few students.
Clubs and Associations
- No as such there no clubs and associations on campus. Sports, cultural fest and few technical events and festivals are organized on the campus. The administration is very strict in terms of attendance.
- Life in college is good but you get bored after a period of time.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria are that a student should have opted science-math in 11th and 12th standard with any board either state or CBSE. There is no specific exam for this college as the standard JEE MAIN score needed to get the admission in this college. At my time of admission I have cleared an exam name RPET to get admission in this college but now this exam is closed. now standard JEE exam has to be performed. The cutoff is nearly about 50-55% of the total marks in JEE pre-exam.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Entrance examination : RPET cut off: rank better than 17000 to get admissions in Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jodhpur. X and XII percentage were also among eligibility criteria. 50% was the minimum requirement for both.
Academics & Faculty : Education quality is moderate and method of teaching is of average level. Teachers are good, they try their best. Overall teaching is good.
