Placements and Internships
My internship was started in the 3rd year and I went to Honda Cars India Ltd (HICL) greater Noida and completely 4 month training and internship from there. Mostly CS and IT companies and management companies came for the placement during my sessions like Infosys, Colaba, HCL, Indian Navy, Capgemini, Genpact and many other management companies. The AVG salary is about 2-3.2 lakh per annum there is about 10-25% placement. The alumni network is not that good people don't even visit the campus after getting out of college
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are 3 separate hostels one for boys, one for girls and the last for faculties. Hostel fee was about 70-80k per annum. Outside CLG is a good option as they are cheap and affordable. Around 6k per month, The food is decent in taste and not so good not so bad. The labs are equipped with good quality machines and new technology equipment. Libraries are also very quiet and full of good quality books. WiFi is all over the campus but cannot be used in your cell phones only with your laptops and PCs.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Eligibility criteria are that a student should have opted science-math in 11th and 12th standard with any board either state or CBSE. There is no specific exam for this college as the standard JEE MAIN score needed to get the admission in this college. At my time of admission I have cleared an exam name RPET to get admission in this college but now this exam is closed. now standard JEE exam has to be performed. The cutoff is nearly about 50-55% of the total marks in JEE pre-exam.
Academics and Faculty
CLG start from 8 in the morning and ends at 1:30 in afternoon. Daily classes are there with the sequence of lab and assignments. The quality of teaching is pretty decent. The overall experience in the college was good.
Fees and Scholarships
The tuition fee for the first year was around 70-75k and after adding all other facilities except hostel it get around 90-95k per year so at the end of the 4th year it will be around 4lakh. Scholarship is provided which is around 60-80% every year which depend on your annual score. An average of 60-65% students get scholarship. Loans are also available and the approval is pretty quick and the partner bank is PNB
Clubs and Associations
The societies are pretty good with lots of clubs to join and so much to do with extra co-curricular activities. This college organizes Tech fest, cultural and sports fest every year with lots and lots of good management skills The college life is like a school you cannot go outside you have to attend all the classes attendance is very important.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Entrance examination : RPET cut off: rank better than 17000 to get admissions in Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jodhpur. X and XII percentage were also among eligibility criteria. 50% was the minimum requirement for both.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : I gave RPET in 2011 and got around 11k rank in the test. After that, i applied for various colleges but ended up getting a mechanical branch in JIET. The cutoff is pretty low and mostly lies around 10k in RPET. It also accepts application through AIEEE. There was no another round like interview or GD i.e it is purely based on merit.
Academics & Faculty : Education quality is moderate and method of teaching is of average level. Teachers are good, they try their best. Overall teaching is good.
