Bhagyashree Kasal's Review on JNNCE - Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering

During my course in Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering,Shimoga, I did an Internship for camp mobiles which lasted for 10months and recieved a stipened of Rs.7500 per month. I was also into social media marketing for the same company. There are a lot of well reputed companies which visit JNNCE for hiring process. Placed students recieve an average package of 6,00,000 pa.

• Hostel facilities in JNNCE are exceptional. There is seperate accomodation for boys and girls, both of which are highly sophisticated.
  
  
• Food served at the hostel mess is highly hygenic and follows a different menu each week. The fee structure for hostel changes every year but it mostly around Rs.40,000 per year. 
  
  
• The college infrastructure is fantastic and all the laboratories are well equipped with instruments. Also, the greenery around the campus provides a fresh breath of air for everyone.

The eligibilty criteria for admission in Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering, Shimoga are -

• 50% aggregate in PCM/PCB in second PUC
• CET/COMEDK results

Branch wise cutoff based on the CET/COMEDK ranks ensure transparent admission process. Also, there are a few management seats available to the applicants.

Usual classes at Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering start at 7:30AM and end at 5:30PM. Though, branch wise time tables differ, all the students get equal number of classes and laboratory time. Overall, the college has a conducive atmosphere and provides a nice platform to express opinions.

The fee structure for Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering, Shimoga is the same as prescribed by KEA. Various scholarships like Kar-Epass, MHRD etc are awarded to meritorious students. Also, educational loans are easily available from banks all over the country. 

There are many student clubs in JNNCE and numerous groups for enterpreunship activities. There are branch-wise forums for co-curricular activities. Also, an incubation centre in the campus focuses on providing projects to students.
