- Placement in Thapar University is quite well. If you are expecting higher packages without working hard, then it won't be possible. But if you have subject knowledge, then you will be surely hired.

Academics & Faculty : Academics is good in Thapar university. All classes are engaged in time. Each student is required to keep his attendance record above 75% to prevent detention from that subject. Some Professors are really good and helpful and most professors can be easily accessed outside the classroom.Classes are engaged from 8-5 but actual schedule may vary from branch to branch. We have a CGPA system here (some college also follow % system). At the end of the semester students can also rate the quality and methodology of teaching by filling a SRS(Student Response Survey)
Academics & Faculty : Academic classes began from 8 am to 5 pm approximately. Quality of teaching was satisfactory. Professors were easily accessible after classes.
