College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There were 11 hostels. Hostel was not very good. But a new one has come up which is excellent.
- There are no PGs. One can take a rented house outside the campus.
- Food is just ok.
- Infrastructure was not good.

- Quallity and method of teaching is not great.
- Overall experience in college is not so fine if learning is your objective.

- Courrse fee is Rs 7000 per semester. It has been increased now.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You can get a seat in NIT JAMSHEDPUR on the basis of JEE MAIN rankings or a limited amount of seats are available for DASA ( Direct Admission to Students Abroad ). I took JEE MAIN and when I attended admissions, for Computer science and engineering, the cutoff was up to a rank of 13000.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for joining National Institute of Technology is passing the 12th from CBSE/ICSE/STATE Board. The students have to clear the JEE MAIN exam. I got 4508 rank for getting admission for computer science and engineering course. The cut-off for my course is 25000 AIR.
Academics & Faculty : Daily routine was ok not too hectic. If you want to learn you have to endeavour yourself. Overall experience is good.
