Placements and Internships
I completed my internship at MAQ Software. The top companies for campus placements will be Amazon, Microsoft, BPCL, UHG, BUYHATKE etc. The highest salary offered was around INR 5.7 LPA. The Alumni network is so good.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are 11 hostels which are of great infrastructure and comfort. The food in the hostels is good. The quality of classrooms is a bit lower than the hostels but it is good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
You can get a seat in NIT JAMSHEDPUR on the basis of JEE MAIN rankings or a limited amount of seats are available for DASA ( Direct Admission to Students Abroad ). I took JEE MAIN and when I attended admissions, for Computer science and engineering, the cutoff was up to a rank of 13000.
Academics and Faculty
The class timings will be generally from 8 to 5 with leisures. Monday to Friday. The teaching is good and it is appreciated by all the students. The college gives a good feel of a university.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee is available on the website of NIT JAMSHEDPUR. There are so many scholarships available here for every branch. Most number of students get a scholarship here. State Bank of India in the college helps with student loans.
Clubs and Associations
There are so many student clubs and societies. Some are literary and debating society, cultural and dramatics society, faces, Daksh, NSS etc.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for joining National Institute of Technology is passing the 12th from CBSE/ICSE/STATE Board. The students have to clear the JEE MAIN exam. I got 4508 rank for getting admission for computer science and engineering course. The cut-off for my course is 25000 AIR.
Academics & Faculty : Daily routine was ok not too hectic. If you want to learn you have to endeavour yourself. Overall experience is good.
