Placements and Internships
- Major companies that hire from our campus are: INFOSYS, NEWGEN, SAMSUNG, LAVA, TORRENT POWER, JAKSON PVT LTD., HCL etc.
- Average salary can be counted around Rs 2.75-3 lakhs. Highest salary package is Rs 6 lakhs in 2015 batch. One student got package of Rs 40 lakhs in Google (off campus). Number of Students placed is 60% of total batch size.
- Alumnis are on good posts in goverment sector
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are seperate hostels for boys and girls and for girls there are 2 hostels. Hostel Fees is Rs 80000-100000 per year which depends on the type of accomodation you take.
- PGs are easily available outside college and at a lower cost. Their overall price may vary from Rs 50000-70000.
- Canteen food is good and upto the mark.
- Infrastructure of the college is one of the best in India.
Academics and Faculty
- Daily Routine of college includes Timings between 8.30 am- 4.00pm. The college remains open from Mon-sat. with saturday being a half day for 1st year students and for the rest of the students, it remains off during saturday. Projects are generally assigned in the last year of college i.e. 4th year. Apart from that, Class test and assignments are given regularly. There are examinations all over the semester which includes Class tests, Sessional tests, Pre-university examination and finally University examinations (AKTU examinations).
- The quality and method of teaching is average. Some leacturers are very helpful. It all depends on youself. College provides average learning experience.
- Describing the overall experience, It was more like school type atmosphere. 75% attendance is compulsory
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fees is around Rs 1.05 lacs per year which doesn't include Hostel Fees.
- No scholarships from college side, Although AKTU Gives scholarships for the students whose family annual income is less than 2 lacs per annum.
- It depends on the number of students who applied that year and the grant given by the UP goverment.
- Loans can be easily availed at lower interest rates from different banks under students loan scheme.
Clubs and Associations
- There are different student societies that organise different events in the college i.e. Dramatics society, singing society etc.
- The main festival includes Sports week in the college.
- The life is more of a school like, many rules & regulations but you can enjoy by yourself.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : During my admission time, this college was on the top of the list of the private engineering college in UPTU. Through counseling was tough to get in this college. But now due to some or other reason, students entering now are not as good as before. I was the rank opener of ECE here. They took students ranging from 4500-8500 in ECE branch. At that time AKGEC gives admission through UPTU, JEE MAINS, and direct admissions on various criteria of management.
