Placements and Internships

3.5

  • Companies come for hiring people but that's not for all courses.
  • Companies hire people from b.com like courses and they pay an average amount as starting salary. It's true that some students get very large package as starting salaries too but that's because they are very talented.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

College is no doubt is old one. The building is old but still it's really very stable and strong and with new floor made in the science block. College is fresh as new with the renovation work going on few blocks.

Kirori mal college, the college from which Mr Amitab bachhan passed. This is how everyone knows kirori mal college. But I don't think that the college should be remembered just for this one thing, the college produced so many other great personalities too. Talking about the daily routine, everyday in the college is really a mash up of everything, we get classes that are so interesting we want teachers to teach a little bit along with those lectures which is no better than sleeping pills. Being in a college is one of its kind experience because it's so different from school. Apart from all those class bunking and roaming around, I personally feel blessed because of the teachers we got in our botany department. Many of our teachers are alumini of the college. The way of teaching is always different with different teachers but they teach the way we are comfortable with, they provide self written notes, they answer our questions as many time we ask, they help us out with projects. So talking about the college kirori mal is a multi-cuisine mould of learning in which humans of all kind and nature are made into something great. The infrastructure, the faculty, the crowd( because that actually matters) can not be found anywhere else. So speaking by my side coming to kirori mal college and being a part of this great institute was a right decision.

Fees and Scholarships

3

  • The Course fee is Rs 11,600 per year including the examination fees.
  • Scholarships are given to the students coming from poor background their fees is being reduced to an extent of their poverty.
  • The average number of students who get the scholarships is the number of people who passes the interview for scholarship.
  • Loans are easily avalilable. Bank of commerce is just at the back gate of college it avails loans if needed, by any student.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for my course at Kirorimal college was totally based on the cut-off system. To get admission here students marks should fall in cut off list provided by the concerned authority. I gave the entrance exams for MBBS, B.Tech, and NDA. The typical cut offs for my course go up to 99% for general students and 90% for ST(schedule tribes).

Academics & Faculty : Kirorimal college is one of the best college of Delhi University. My Daily routine usually starts at 8:40 am with my first lecture or practical class. We do get assignments, file work, presentations and their marks are also evaluated in our new cbcs system. The teaching staff is excellent. You can never be left with any query. My overall experience in college is great.
