- The college rating is very good and there are talented students too so the internship opportunity is good.
- The placements are good among all NITs.
- Alumni are awesome and always help us out on any issues.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Hostel fees is around 20,000 INR. There are enough hostels for everyone.
- The hostel mess sucks to the core. Initially as you join the college you will like it but eventually you will begin to hate it.
- The classroom infrastructure is not that good. Facilities are there but not good as expected.
Academics and Faculty
- The routine is good and the college is student friendly.
- The teachers are highly experienced but the teaching is generally not that efficient as expected.
- The overall experience is very good.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fees is about 40 thousand INR.
- There are scholarships given and information about it can be checked online.
- And loans are also easily available from banks.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get into B.tech you have to clear the JEE mains. I got this college by JEE mains. So far NITK maintained the NIRF rank of 10 from last 2 year. So obviously you have to score good marks in JEE mains. for the top branches (i e. CSE ,IT,ECE and EEE) you have to score approx above 98 percentile.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) is in coastal region of Karnataka, where only college in India to have private beach. Coming to eligibility, each individual is selected based on the JEE MAINS score. Once scores are out, need to confirm in the college about the seat and later you can wait for better department in total 3 rounds and additional spot round, if you would like to. NITK has EC, Electrical, CS, IT, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Metallurgy and Mining branches of Engineering. Mainly EC and CS will have higher cutoffs and also the best branches both in terms of teaching as well as placement is concerned. NITK is a vast campus of 300 acres, we have well maintained Hostels both for boys and girls and also cafe's here and there in the campus. Every year we will have good placement records. Along with studies you can spend enjoy time in beach and also good fish hotels in and around Mangalore. Happy Engineering.
