  • MANY COMPANIES VISIT NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENT.
  • THERE IS AN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM FOR THE STUDENTS.
  • THE AVERAGE PACKAGE OFFERED IS Rs. 3-4 LAKHS PER ANNUM AND THE HIGHEST PACKAGE IS Rs. 12 LAKHS PA.
  • THE ALUMNI NETWORK IS LARGE.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

  • CONDITION OF HOSTELS AT NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY NEED TO BE IMPROVED.
  • FOOD QUALITY IS POOR AND THERE IS NO WIFI IN 2ND AND 3RD YEAR HOSTELS. 1ST AND 4TH YEAR HAVE BEEN PROVIDED WIFI AND LAN RESPECTIVELY.
  • CONDITION OF CLASSROOMS IS PATHETIC AND PROPER LIGHTING IS ABSENT.
  • CONDITION OF LABS IS ALSO MISERABLE.
  • THE LIBRARY FACILITY IS NOT SO GOOD.

Academics & Faculty : The method of teaching at NIT is not good and the teachers aren't that great. The college is located in Kashmir and it is not a good locality. The situation in Kashmir is getting worse and the students have left to home but the hostelites have no option.
