College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- 7 hostels in the A wing and 6 on the C wing, hostel fee is a little over INR 30000 per month which is pretty reasonable considering the fact that the hostel facilities are brilliant.
- BITS Goa is one of the only major colleges in India which provides rooms with single occupancy.
- Mess food is a delight here. There is a lavish spread on most days and the mess bill comes up to INR 100 per day.
Academics and Faculty
- Students get to choose their own timetable. Early risers prefer to have classes in the morning, others might prefer attending classes in the evening.
- Method and quality of teaching is synonymous to the pattern followed in MIT, USA.
- College in a fun place like Goa is an experience like no other.
Fees and Scholarships
- Course fee inclusive of hostel accomodation and mess and electricity charges comes upto INR 300000 aproximately per year.
- The course fee might seem hefty some but there are many scholarships that we can avail such as the Merit scholarship which is offered to the top 1% of students who get good marks in our annual examinations.
- About 10-20 students get scholarship per batch per year.
- Some students might need to take loans. They are availed from our own SBI Branch.
Clubs and Associations
- BITS Goa is known for its wide student network in the form of clubs and departments. We have three major festivals - Waves(cultural),Quark(technical) and Spree(sports). All these fests are completely students.
- We have a department (DoSM) that raises money for these fests,Public relations teams (DePP) which invites colleges to the fests and so on.
- Life in college in general - is Awesome.
