Placements and Internships
- I haven't done any internship program yet.
- Major companies that come for campusing are it firms like tcs,CTS,infosis,Ibm,etc,some core companies and management companies also come for campus recruitment.
- Average salary is Rs 3.3 lakhs per annum, highest package varies every year. The best thing is that the percentage of placement has been 100% since 2009.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- 3,4 hostels are there. No knowledge of hostel fees.
- Pgs and flats are available outside college.
- Food is ok and cost are normal.
- Infrastructure is quite good but need to be improved more.
Academics and Faculty
- College timings are normal and quite appropriate for students. Exam are taken at regular intervals and assignments are given regularly. Projects are not compulsory except the final year project.
- Quality of faculty and teaching is appreciable.
- Overall education in iem is quite better than any of the government or private colleges in West Bengal.
Fees and Scholarships
Fees varies every semester. Normally it is about Rs 40000 per semester.
Scholarships are not provided to any students.
Yes loans are needed by some but loans can be availed as during admission banks like united bank,Allahabad,state bank comes to iem for giving loans

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You have to get more than 60 percent in your 12th exam. Then You have to sit on Entrance exams like WBJEE and JEE Mains. You have to get at least 120 marks in Jee Mains so that you can get a chance to take admission in this college.
