There are many internship programmes initiated by the college. Also big companies come for hiring here.

As it is a Convent college, there's a hostel provided. I am not clear about the hostel details, because I have never lived in the hostel. But cleanliness is maintained. Food provided is also healthy. Most importantly, the hostel is safe. The college has a canteen which provides food which is ready to eat such as sandwiches, chocolates, instant noodles and so on. They maintain hygiene so it's safe according to me.

If you have completed your 10+2 i.e. 2 years of intermediate from college/school you are eligible for this course. Here it's good if you are from a commerce background in your inter. But it's still ok if you are from any other background.

The classes begin at 9.30 am. We are expected to be at the college before the prayer which starts at 9.05 and goes on till 9.15. Timetables are circulated among the students by the management and the same is followed by the lecturers. The way of explaining is good. Lecturers are friendly and interactive in nature which motivate us to perform well in all aspects whether it is the exams or any extra curricular activities.

Basically when I joined my Bachelor's degree the fee was 40k (say 505.26 $) for a year. It increases to 42k till the final year. It may change in future. Yes there are scholarship programs also for those who cannot afford to pay. Not all but few students will get the scholarships.

We have many events organised by our college. There are many inter-collegiate competitions which are conducted within our college and even at different colleges. The main events for which St Pious Degree College for Women is known for are Cynosure, Storm etc. They involve students of various streams to participate in numerous extra curricular activities which helps them realise their strengths, help them grow in a way so that they can face the world outside. College life is something where you get to know yourself well.
